The standard we aim for
AgriNova AI aims for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The website has not been audited against that standard by an independent reviewer, so this statement does not claim that it conforms.
What was tested
On 9 October 2026 an automated browser test checked all 28 pages of the website, this statement included, on a local build of the website, not the live site, in the Chromium browser at 390 and 1440 pixels wide. It checked:
- the WCAG rules that an automated accessibility rule engine can check, such as text alternatives for images and names for buttons and links;
- the colour contrast of text against its background, as the browser draws it;
- a visible focus indicator on everything that can be reached with the keyboard;
- keyboard use: the skip link, a focus order that follows the page, every link and control reachable with the Tab key, and no keyboard traps;
- that a focused link or control is not hidden behind the sticky header or a fixed bar;
- the size of links and controls as targets;
- reflow: no sideways scrolling at 320 pixels wide, with text enlarged to 200% or with wider text spacing;
- reduced motion: no animation or smooth scrolling when the browser asks for less motion;
- the demo's trend chart: each date label sits under its point;
- printing: the page prints without the menu and footer, with its folded sections open;
- menus and folded sections: they open and close with the keyboard, and Escape closes them and returns focus to the control that opened them.
Each of these checks was first shown to fail on test pages built with the problem it looks for.
Checked in a browser during this revision
Between 4 and 9 October 2026, browser checks during the website's revision also covered the header menus and the phone menu with the keyboard, the demo's field choice with the keyboard and its announcements, visible focus, reduced motion, pages with JavaScript turned off, enlarged text on the Platform page, and printing.
The website has not yet been tested with screen readers or other assistive technologies, or by people with disabilities.
What these checks do not cover
The automated test runs in one browser, Chromium, at the widths listed above, on a local build. It cannot measure the contrast of text set over a background image or gradient, such as the page introductions and the field review on the home page; those colours are checked only as pairs in the stylesheet.
Known issues
These problems were found on 8 and 9 October 2026:
- Printed with JavaScript turned on, the question-and-answer sections on the home, Platform, Canadian pilot and Plans pages leave out the answers that have not been opened.
- On the Platform page and the historical field studies page, some side panels sit inside other page regions, and on the value calculator two regions share a name; some screen readers announce these less clearly. Neither is a WCAG requirement; both are recommended practice.
- On the Platform page's row of section links and beside two source links on the value calculator, part of the focus outline can be cut off on one side; the rest of the outline stays visible.
- On a phone, when keyboard focus moves from the skip link to the AgriNova AI name, the skip link briefly overlaps the name while it slides away.
Feedback
Enquiries are not open yet, so there is no address or form for accessibility feedback today, and nothing on this website sends a message.
Feedback will be accepted once enquiries open, and this statement will then say where to send it.
